Last night before bed Little Miss said her heart hurt. At first I thought like she was sad or her feelings were hurt or something like that but then she said it felt like it was moving or something and it hurt. She asked me to pray for it, so I did, and asked God to take the pain away and make her feel better. When I got done praying she smiled and said, it feels better!

We laid in bed for a little while longer together and she said,

“God is a special God. He will never leave us. He is always with us. He loves us.”

Oh to have that childlike faith again.  So many times as an adult I have thought God doesn’t care or He isn’t near and that is completely opposite of everything in the Bible!

Just in these couple verses it tells us so:

Joshua 1:9

Isaiah 41:10

Deuteronomy 31:6

Matthew 28: 20

Hebrews 13;5

Romans 8:38-39

Ephesians 3:16-21-I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner bing, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that supposes knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Ultimately, God wants us to have that childlike faith. He wants us to believe that He can and will heal us, love us, talk to us whenever we are willing to listen, and never leave us. He does not want us to accept the lies from the enemy that He doesn’t really care about us.

I think it’s human nature to question and wonder and over analyze everything that we hear about our God. I think we just need to stop “questioning” God and just start having some faith that He is who He says He is and He will do what He said He will do! Just have faith!

He has great things in store for us, we just need to have faith that He will work out the details and use us for His Kingdom.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” Mark 10:14–15
